WANT to know more on the process of testing?
Collecting a sample of cells from your mouth cheeks for DNA extraction and analysis is a quick process, taking only a minute. Simply swab the inside of your cheek, place the swab in the provided test tube with the stabilising capsule, complete and sign the consent form, then package everything in the provided return packaging. Notably, this test can be done at any time of the day. You just need to avoid eating and drinking for at least one hour before testing. The DNA test remains unaffected by factors like illness, medications, nutritional supplements, or any other environmental factors.
Upon ordering your test, you will receive a kit at your home, and your results will be accessible during your consultation. If the test is promptly conducted upon receipt of the kit, the entire process is expected to take 6 to 8 weeks from the time of order to the scheduled consultation. However, the timeline is contingent on the timely arrival of the DNA sample at the laboratory; any delays in submission may extend the duration, potentially resulting in a postponement of your consultation. Hence, due to some variables, you will be contacted to schedule your consultation.
